Bachelor & Bachelorette

Fire, drinks, and steel.

The kind of party you actually want to brag about at the reception instead of drinking it into oblivion.

What this is

Most bachelor (or bachelorette — girls swing harder than the boys) parties are rented from a menu. Strip clubs, escape rooms, axe throwing, golf. Yours gets to be truly unique.

The smithy wagon shows up at your AirBnB, your favorite distillery, or the abandoned warehouse we won't tell anyone about. Everyone gets a hammer. Everyone leaves with a piece they made — bottle openers, hooks, knives, whatever fits the group. We can even forge the wedding rings (for real, ask me about it). My mobile bartender can mix custom drinks to wash the sweat off (not included in base price).

It's not a stunt. It's a night the rest of the wedding party will be talking about at the rehearsal dinner, and every anniversary party for years.

Best fit for

Groups who've outgrown the standard package. Outdoorsy types, artisans, and would-be pirates. Anyone planning a weekend up in the mountains who wants one anchor activity that isn't another bar. Bachelorette parties highly encouraged. Someone has to show the boys who's boss.

What's included
Add-ons

Damascus pendants from a shared billet.

Each member of the wedding party forges their own damascus pendant — anchor, cross, leaf, monogram, or custom shape — all from the same forged billet. Worn on leather cord. The kind of groomsman gift that gets remembered.

Add $1,500–2,500 to base, depending on group size and pendant complexity. 8+ weeks lead time.

The Damascus Wedding Set.

A full-day or weekend event. The couple forges their wedding rings from a single damascus billet; the wedding party forges matching pendants from the same billet. Everyone wears something that came from the same piece of steel.

From $5,500. Booking 12+ weeks ahead minimum. Quoted as a separate experience.

Mobile bartender.

Custom cocktails brought to your venue. Quoted separately based on group size and drink menu.

Extended session.

Longer forge time for groups who want to make multiple pieces or take on a more complex project.

Logistics

Up to 8 participants per booking. The smithy wagon needs about 16x13 of parking space outside. Backyards, AirBnB driveways, brewery yards, ranch properties, mountain cabins all work. Outdoors only, weather permitting. (The “abandoned warehouse” line is mostly a joke — venues need to be safe and legal for me to set up insurance coverage.)

15 feet of clearance from buildings and combustibles. Closed-toe shoes and natural fibers (cotton, denim, wool) required for everyone participating. No exceptions — synthetics melt.

Beer's fine. Heavy drinking before forging is not. Save the celebration for after the hammers go down.

Book 4–6 weeks ahead for weekend dates, especially May through September.

Investment

Bachelor and bachelorette parties start at $1,200 for up to 6 participants, $1,500 for 7–8.

Custom project requests, additional time, and travel beyond 60 miles quoted per booking.

A 50% deposit reserves the date. Final payment due the week of the event.
