FAQ

Common questions.

What's the difference between Group Bookings and Bachelor Parties?
Group Bookings are hands-on instruction for 4-6 people who want to learn and make something together. Bachelor and bachelorette parties are similar but with a celebration energy, often longer, with optional add-ons like custom drinks and ring forging. If you're celebrating a wedding, see the Bachelor & Bachelorette page.
Do I need any experience?
No. Most students who come through have never touched a hammer for anything more than a nail. Every class except Knife Making is designed for total beginners.
What ages can attend?
Parent & Kid welcomes ages 8+. Forge Sampler and Half-Day welcome ages 12+ with an adult or 14+ solo. Knife Making is 16+ only. Schools and youth groups have separate programs — see the Schools page.
Where do classes happen?
The forge comes to you. Backyards, AirBnB driveways, parks, ranch properties — anywhere with about 16x13 of outdoor space and 15 feet of clearance from buildings. Travel within 15 miles of Greeley included; further distances quoted by trip.
What's your cancellation policy?
Full refund up to 72 hours before class. 50% refund within 72 hours. Reschedule anytime if my calendar has openings. Weather and unsafe conditions are always a full refund or reschedule.
